Truth and Illusion: Buddha’s teachings on the true nature of reality
December 14, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm| Free – £22.50
Truth and Illusion
To say that phenomena are illusory is not to say that they do not exist; it simply means that they do not exist in the way that they appear. In a dream, things appear vividly to us, as if they existed from their own side, but when we wake we understand that they were simply projected by the mind. In the same way, when we are awake phenomena appear vividly to us, as if they existed from their own side, but in reality they are merely imputed by conception.
When we finally realise this profound truth we will be liberated permanently from all suffering and experience the supreme happiness of enlightenment.

What People Say About Our Events
Kadampa meditation is an oasis of calm in a busy world. I have learned so much, how to meditate. Thoughts are just thoughts, not facts and what I can do to improve my connection to the world we live in.
Made such a huge difference to my happiness and wellbeing
