The Power to Choose How You Feel (6 weeks)

We can often feel trapped by our unhappy feelings and emotions, struggling to see a way out. Usually we find it difficult to control our mind. It seems that our mind is like a balloon in the wind, blown here and there by external circumstances, and we easily become overwhelmed.

Discover our unique ability to choose which thoughts to follow, in turn changing our feelings, our actions and our entire reality. By training in meditation & mindfulness we will be able to eradicate from our mind the causes of our depression, anxiety, stress & worry and find genuine mental peace.

Join our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Jigme (Mondays) or Buddhist teacher Catherine Traynor (Fridays) for this practical meditation course. You can pre-book the whole 6-week series for the discounted rate of £30 or drop-in to a class for £6.

Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Jigme

With Gen Kelsang Jigme, our Resident Teacher. Ordained as a monk in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen Jigme has studied, practised & taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance for over 20 years.

With Buddhist teacher, Catherine Traynor. Catherine has been studying and practising meditation & Modern Buddhism for several years and has completed several retreats. She provides very clear and practical teachings.
