Love Without Pain
*** THIS EVENT WILL NOW BE LIVE-STREAMED ONLINE ***
“Pure, unconditional love never causes any pain or worry but only peace and joy.” – Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
Real love never causes any pain! It is a source of peace and joy, and the foundation of all healthy and positive relationships. When we experience pain in our relationships with others, it isn’t love that is the cause. Pain comes from our uncontrolled desires and our attachment to the fulfilment of our own wishes. Left unchecked, these delusions can destroy even our closest and most precious relationships with others. On this half-day course we will learn how to distinguish between the love and attachment in our own minds, so that we can remove the cause of hurt from our heart and learn to love without pain. Everyone is welcome.
Date/Time: Sat 4th April – 10:00am-1.30pm
Venue: This event will be live-streamed online.
Cost: £15.00 – free for members. Please book below.
The teacher of this course is Vincent Conil. Originally from France, Vincent is our World Peace Café Manager and an experienced Kadampa teacher. He brings a wealth of personal experience to his teachings.
What People Say About Our Events
Kadampa meditation is an oasis of calm in a busy world. I have learned so much, how to meditate. Thoughts are just thoughts, not facts and what I can do to improve my connection to the world we live in.
Made such a huge difference to my happiness and wellbeing
