Guilt can be a very painful, even destructive, emotion. It serves no useful purpose – it only makes us feel bad and trapped in negativity. Yet Buddha said that within everyone there is the potential to change and become a good person. Through meditation and mindfulness we can learn how to let go of guilt, put our past mistakes behind us and move on.
