In the prayer Request to the Lord of all Lineages, Venerable Geshe Kelsang says: “The phenomena that I normally see or perceive are deceptive – created by mistaken minds.” All the fears, worries, pain and suffering that we experience come from these mistaken minds. By practising Buddha’s teachings on ultimate truth emptiness, we will develop a fearless wisdom that sees things the way they really are. Then, finally, we will be free from all pain and suffering, and be able to help others to do the same.
On this special day course, Buddhist monk Gen Jigme will explain these profound teachings simply, so that we can begin to develop our own fearless wisdom right away. Everybody is welcome.
The teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Jigme, our Resident Teacher. Ordained in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Jigme has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance for many years.
