Dealing with Change & Loss


Losing the people and things that we love and dealing with unwanted changes in our lives is an experience that often hurts us deeply. We hope to find lasting pleasure, comfort and security in other people and things, but in the end none of these things can stay with us forever.

through meditation we can develop a special wisdom that will help us to deal with the winds of change and loss and remain calm and happy. We can become a strong, wise and peaceful person for the benefit of ourself and others.

The teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Jigme, our Resident Teacher. Ordained in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Jigme has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance for many years.
