Meditation & Mindfulness

In the fast pace of our work and personal lives our attention is easily scattered and our mind is cluttered with endless distractions. Training in mindfulness gives us the power to overcome disturbing thoughts and to stay focused on what brings peace of mind. During this series of classes, get to know and gain control over your mind, rather than having your mind control you.

Class fee: £5 per class. First class free.
With Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Jigme

The classes are self-contained so you can drop in any week. Each class consists of two guided meditations and a Buddhist mindfulness teaching to help us solve our daily problems and find peace and happiness. Beginners welcome. No need to book or bring anything.

The Quaker Meeting House is located next door to The Bluecoat on School Lane.  Parking is free on Bold St and the surrounding streets after 6pm.
