Habits of Happy People – drop-in meditation classes

During these four classes we will look at how we can develop positive attitudes that help us to lead a happy and meaningful life.

Some people are naturally happy: they seem to enjoy life when things are going well and are able to stay positive even when things are going badly. With meditation and mindfulness, we can learn to do the same. Meditation teaches us how to train our mind so that we too can develop the positive mental habits and attitudes that will give us a happy and meaningful life.

Classes consist of guided meditations and a talk covering a different aspect of meditation & positive thinking each week, offering practical advice from the Buddhist tradition for a happy and meaningful life. There’s no need to book or to attend the whole series; classes are suitable for everyone, seating is on chairs and no special clothing is needed – just come as you are.

The Quaker Meeting House is located next door to The Bluecoat on School Lane.  Parking is free on Bold St and the surrounding streets after 6pm.

All profits are paid into the International Temples Project fund, a registered charity working for world peace.
