Improving Relationships – half day workshop
Our relationships with others can be a source of great happiness and joy for us, but they can also cause us great pain. We often experience problems and difficulties and sometimes even the closest friends fall out. Buddha taught that it is our confused and selfish states of mind that create all the problems in our relationships – pure, unconditional love never causes any pain or worry but only peace and joy.
On this day course we will learn how to distinguish pure love from the selfish mind of attachment, how to work on our mind through mindfulness and meditation and increase our love to improve all our relationships. Everyone is welcome.
The teacher of this course is Pauline Kinrade, a Kadampa Buddhist meditator who has been studying, practising and teaching meditation for many years. Drawing from decades of personal experience of meditation & mindfulness, Pauline will explain simple, practical methods to develop our good heart and improve our relationships with others.
