Overcoming Stress – drop-in meditation classes

Discover simple meditations that will help you keep a calm and flexible mind throughout your day.

During this series of classes we will identify the actual causes of stress, explore new ways of thinking and learn to create a sense of inner peace, freeing yourself from stress and anxiety.

With Buddhist Teacher, Ken Evans.
Ken has been practising and teaching meditation and Kadampa Buddhism for many years. Born and bred in Liverpool, Ken shows how everyone can use the ancient wisdom of Buddha’s teachings in our modern world to solve our daily problems and find a happy and meaningful life.

Classes consist of guided meditations and a talk covering a different aspect of meditation & positive thinking each week, offering practical advice from the Buddhist tradition for a happy and meaningful life. There’s no need to book or to attend the whole series; classes are suitable for everyone, seating is on chairs and no special clothing is needed – just come as you are.

No individual receives payment for running these classes – all profits are paid into the International Temples Project fund, a registered charity working for world peace.
